New Zealand Election 2011

This year is election year for New Zealand. In New Zealand, general election held every 3 year. During 2nd February 2011, prime minister John Key announced that 2011 election will be held on 26th November 2011. Therefore, people have plenty of time to prepare.
Last week, i receive an enrollment pack from Elections NZ. From the letter, they mention that no one is currently enrolled as an elector at our address. They also remind me that it is require by law to enrol if we are qualify to do so.
Enrolling is so easy. They have enclosed all the forms. Which we only need to fill it up, and post it in the envelope provided.
However, i'm not so ready yet for this time. Leave it in next term....

Wisdom teeth removal...omg

My top right wisdom tooth has been partially decay for quite a while. During my last dental visit last year, she advise me to pull it off, as it will do more harm than good. As i'm scare of pain getting from teeth removal, i ignore it.

Last week, the tooth played up. Its not fun and i even lost my sleep one night. Damm!!However, i make this decision quite fast. I want it gone, and no more trouble.

As the appointment was made, i visit our local dentist this morning. I still can recall when i was a primary school boy, i hate dentist. Every single time i been called out for a check out, i try to avoid. If i'm not wrong, the last time i my teeth get removed was 12.

The dentist start with two injection of anaesthetic, and my mouth start becoming numb in 5 minutes. Extraction process is way fast and easier than i thought. Its all done in a minute. Cost me $170.

Janice says that she like the way i am when i have tooth ache!!  :(

Malaysia Police

I want to just shut up, but i can't. It really piss me off, when i see things happen this way.

I lost faith to Malaysia Police *sad* . I'm not angry, but sad. They are performing their duty, but in a WRONG way.

Everywhere in the world, police is a job highly respect by people. To become police, you must has been highly train, well educated(i mean at least you know the manners to deal with people), polite and friendly.

As a Malaysia police, you have the honor to wear your blue uniform, your name and code printed on it, silver batch with"Polis Diraja Malaysia" on your right chest and hat, some even have a few "flowers" on your shoulder. When people ask your daughter what your dad is doing...."he's a police", answer your daughter loudly.. Hear that!! Do you know how proud she is.

As we i can see from the video up top, a bunch of blue uniform police, robot, or puppet(whatever you like to call them, i cannot think of a proper word).... insult the public. If you have a look closely, they are young boys and girls, so young and energetic.... and also naive :(

Shout, swear, pointing fingers, walk like"TAI KOH"(big boss), nose up the sky, smash and hit public with weapon.... and anymore that you can think of. I call all this naive. Do not act like a puppet. Act like a human being. Do what you think is right, always have a second thought.

Is not all right for a police to physically acting this way, to the bare hand people. You know is not good, i know is bad...HE cannot answer to it too....that's why he denied. Such a liar!!

As you work hard in the front line, see what's this man doing

Is that funny? As a prime minister of Malaysia, what a joke!!  *shake head*

Bersih 2.0 Malaysia reform protests

Yesterday 09/07/2011, a group of coalition call BERSIH 2.0, together with about 20,000 thousands malaysians, rally on the street of Kuala Lumpur, to show their support for electoral reform.

As it has been plan, this rally is going to be a peaceful rally. Demanding a electoral reform in the country, the people  want longer campaign periods, automatic voter registration and equality of access to the largely government-linked mainstream media. As a democratic country, ensure the next general election to be "clean" (bersih in Malay) is essential.

Few days before the event, police has lock down the city by setting up road block in places leading into the CBD and suspending public transport.

a photo from my friend, alexlyn get stuck at sungai besi toll
The street descended into chaos when police using tear gas and water cannons to the public. As, we can see from the video up top, its unreasonable for police to act this why to the bare hand public. I like the say of one of the young man " people will never forget how it feel".

To the political side of view, i think Malaysia is up for a change. As a single ruling country for more than 54 years, our country has been turn from bad to worst. Corruption and dirty politic has drag the country backwards. In Asia, we use to growth neck to neck with Hong Kong or Singapore. Now, we even fall behind Indonesia.

Don't need me to tell that KLCC is the icon of Malaysia. People around the world praise our landmark, as well as our country. As you can see, its a twin tower. Identical to each other with a bridge holding them tight.

I like our country politically to be this way. Two equally strong party, one to govern and the other to oversee. If party A fail, party B will get a chance in the next term. Healthy competition is the way to be, to keep Malaysia competitive in the world.
