After 2 busy months, today i get to start blogging again. This winter, we manage to spare our self 10days to have a good drive at south island.
Punakaiki has been a place i always want to go. Its appear to be our first stop of the journey. Located at Paparoa National Park, the famous pancake rocks and blowholes has make this place so popular. This unique natural attraction was formed 30millions years ago from minute fragments of dead marine creatures and plants landed on the seabed.
Many tourist from all over the world get to visit this nature wonder everyday.
During high tide, sea water will bursts through a number vertical holes of the limestone, create a huge sound follow by a big spray of water.

With the strong wind, wave and acidic rain..global warming :( some part of the limestone has been slowly eroded.
